Butanol and 2-EH are important organic chemical industry. The basic producing method is that n-butyricaldehyde is produced by oxo-reaction. Because of the plant is on the increase, the operation situation changes for the worse. In paper, on the basis of Tianjin Bohua Yongli Chemical Industry Co. Ltd OXO plant, will discuss through technical research and reform to tapping potentials, and then estimate economic benefits.The main contents include: 1. Create a new ROPAC catalyst management scheme, compared with the original management, and then estimate the economic benefits. 2. The existing vent gas of oxo unit has more active principle, while these active principle is be made liquid gas products. Therefore, vent gas discharge system should be properly innovated so as to improve the plant production efficiency. 3. The third section introduces the device of intermediate products I-bal. The transformation of the device which are used to product I-bal are designed. This new production flow could be switch between the new process with old. The plan should be according to the market price of the product to determined. At last, we try to estimate economic benefit by this production model. 4. Make full use of OXO unit purge gas for recycling, reduce the total plant fuel gas mains load pressure, and estimates the economic benefit produced in tail gas recovery.
