With the development and progress of China's mechanical industry, the requirements of equipments used for preparing coal sample in the coal industry are getting higher and higher. Because the quality of our country's coal resources is different, in order to determine the quality or the chemical content of coal, it is necessary to detect coal. In order to produce a representative coal sample for testing, the equipment for the preparation of coal samples is very important. At present, most of the pulverized coal sampling equipment in China is large, the cost is high, and the automation level is low, which can not meet the requirements of the enterprise. Therefore, it is very necessary to study the principle of coal sampling equipment and design a new type of pulverized coal sampling device.The main research contents of this paper include:(1)In this paper, after studying the principle and working flow of the pulverized coal sampling equipment, the structure design was carried out firstly: UG was used to model the various parts of the pulverized coal sampling equipment, and the 3D model of the sample making device was obtained. In the structural design process, innovative design for the hammer of crusher was made to avoid imbalance in collision; the sieve surface and the discharge port were studied and analyzed to avoid the blocking phenomenon of the screening machine.(2)Using ANSYS to make finite element analysis of main parts of the crusher, by comparing with the traditional model of hammer, the new hammer has a superior performance,and making the experimental analysis to show the law of coal crushing.(3) Making dynamic characteristic analysis for conveying belt to get the best conveyor start state parameters. By analyzing and calculating the dynamic tension of the conveyor belt under different acceleration, the acceleration of the conveyor belt is obtained when the minimum dynamic tension is obtained, which can effectively improve the reliability of the conveyor.(4)In this paper, the automation of small sized pulverized coal sampling device is also studied. Through the analysis, PLC was used to complete the automatic control of the device, and STEP7 software was used to simulate the main function to provide certain directive significance for the automatic control of coal sampling device.
