Layered ternary ceramic material Ti3AlC2 because of its series of excellent performance, and then the years acclaimed. This paper mainly improved by the heat treatment process morphology of the sample, increased sample purity, and to study the heat treatment process on Ti3AlC2 ceramic powder purity and morphology, as well as corrosion resistance on bulk materials and corrosion mechanism analyzed.During the experiment the heat treatment temperature increased from 650? to 1150?, showed Ti3AlC2 powder after a heat treatment process, product purity and appearance both with increasing heat treatment temperature and has been significantly improved. When the heat treatment temperature reaches 1050?, the product Ti3AlC2 maximum percentage content, microstructure appears as lamellar structure, and are arranged in close order. This is mainly because with the increase of heat treatment temperature, the product is not fully reacted TiC, Al3 Ti, Ti2 AlC will continue to react Ti3AlC2 ceramics. If you continue to heat up, the heat treatment temperature reaches 1150? when, Ti3AlC2 will decomposition TiCx, and morphology will have sintering tendency. And accompanied by generation of hydrogen gas, hydrogen escapes while the sample surface would cause a lot of corrosion holes.With SHS by combustion synthesis of ceramic materials Ti3AlC2 has good corrosion resistance, it has a very broad application prospects in industrial production and people's daily lives.
