The Research Of New Type Precision Investing Wax Mold Material And The Optimization Of The Pattern Matching

Precision casting technology is a kind of less cutting or no cutting, near the net shape mold casting tech, which is an excellent technology in the casting industry, it is widely used in many kinds of fields. In our country, the precision casting technology is started in the 1950 s, although it started late, but its development is rapid. In some precision casting mold material fields that require less production process or not high quality, there has been a very mature technology and craft level. For this kind of precision casting wax mold material production, it seems to be saturation. However, in the fields of high dimensional accuracy and quality, the high dimensional accuracy and quality precision casting mold and the casting based on it still have larger development space. This paper just take this opportunity to research and develop the precision casting wax mold material, its temperature is different from ranges and meet many other requirement.Selecting from branch company of Sinopec, several kinds of paraffin wax and microcrystalline wax are as the main raw material, considering the influence of various supplementary filling material has made to the raw material, and through many parallel orthogonal experiment, we have respectively developed low, moderate and high temperature precision casting wax mold material that have some features, such as high strength and hardness, high heat stability, even cooling contraction and nice surface. The product based on that methods is tested by the recommended national standards GB/T 14235.1-9 pattern materials in investment casting, some properties of the product such as melting point, universal softening point, heat resistant, linear shrinkage, strength, hardness, viscosity, liquidity, ash content, and acid value are made accurate measurements. With low temperature precision casting wax data up to the performance requirements of the industry, and the performance of the medium temperature precision casting wax is basic at or better than other similar products on the market. The production process is simple, have stable quality, reuse property is good and does not produce the “three wastes” in the production process, it meet the environment protection requirements and the needs of the actual production of domestic precision casting factory. Also, the product are made the additional process test, and used for the factory near the Pearl River Delta, the use effect is good, conform the technological requirements.The development and use of precision casting wax mold material with high dimensional precision and quality is a good supplementary for the our country's precision casting industry, it can speed up the rapid development of this industry, also can bring economic benefits to related factories and provide valuable advices for the development of this field.
