| In the process of producing sulfur powder, due to factors such as static, combustion explosion accident occur easily in the production process.Combustion explosion accident cause casualties or equipment damage. Therefore, this paper studied issues relating to static in the process of sulfur crushing and collection. This had great significance for safe production of sulfur powder.This article tested various factors that produced static in the process of sulfur grinding. Experiments showed that the grinding time,grinding frequency, and sulfur particle size would affect the size of the amount of static electricity in the process of sulfur grinding. With the increase of grinding time, the amount of static electricity would increase. when the grinding time reached a certain value, the amount of sulfur to produce static electricity would reach saturation, so as to maintain a certain constant value. When the amount of grinding machine vibration frequency increased, static electricity would also increase. Smaller sulfur particle size had the total surface area which was greater than the total surface area large particle size. In the process of crushing, it had a greater chance of friction and crushing.That would be easier to produce electrostatic charges.In order to study the distribution of the flow field and the static charge in the bag filter, the flow state of sulfur powder into the bag filter was simulated by Fluent software:(1) The result showed that the air speed of the entrance of the pipe of bag type dust collector was larger. After entering the middle of the box, due to the expansion of the volume, the airflow rate was reduced. In the middle of the box, the speed of stream near the inlet of the bag is faster than the speed far away he inlet of the bag.Bag type dust collector inlet airflow velocity big, the local position of the box body has larger turbulent fluctuation, and the flow is more disordered.(2) The value of static pressure box body is relatively uniform,hopper and a box body in static pressure value is large, upper case on the negative pressure state.(3) Sulfur static charge distribution is not uniform, mainly accumulated in the bag and the bag type dust collector wall area.In order to reduce the harm of electrostatic charge to sulfur powder production, this paper presents the control method of electrostatic charge in the production of sulfur powder according to the static characteristic test and the simulation of powder flow field. |
