As a new type of inorganic binder, aluminum-chromium-phosphate(ACP)owing to its advantages of high bonding strength, stable chemical properties, good thermal stability, is preferred by researchers. The curing process of the adhesive has a direct impact o n its performance, and there were many studies on the aluminum phosphate composite materials. However, the systematic study of the curing agent on the curing behavior of the ACP was not much. In this paper, the zinc oxide, metallic zinc, and zinc oxide and zinc metallic complexes as curing agents, the effects of these curing agents on the curing behavior of the ACP were researched. At the same time, the infrared emissivity of the three series of adhesives were studied, which provided the theoretical basis for the preparation of the infrared stealth coating of the ACP.Firstly, the zinc oxide-aluminum-chromium-phosphates(ACP-Zn O) were synthesized with Zinc oxide as the curing agent. The effects of different content zinc oxide on the curing temperature, adhesive strength, microstructure and infrared emissivity of the ACP were researched. the curing characteristics and heat-resistant properties were analyzed by DSC-TG, SEM, XRD and IR. The experimental results showed that adhesive strength of the ACP-Zn O maximized when the zinc oxide content was 9wt% and cured at 170? for 3 hours. The peak value was 3.150 Mpa. The binder began to crystallize at 700?. In the range of 1~22 ?m waveband, the binder infrared emissivity can be reduced to 0.77.Secondly, the zinc-aluminum-chromium-phosphates(ACP-Zn) were synthesized with zinc powder as the curing agent. The effects of different content zinc powder on the curing temperature, adhesive strength, microstructure and infrared emissivity of the ACP were researched. the curing characteristics and heat-resistant properties were analyzed by DSC-TG, SEM, XRD and IR. The experimental results showed that adhesive strength of the ACP-Zn maximized when the zinc oxide content was 11 wt% and cured at 158? for 3 hours. The peak value was 2.016 Mpa. The binder began to crystallize at 600?. In the range of 1~22 ?m waveband, the binder infrared emissivity can be reduced to 0.71.Finally, zinc oxide and zinc mixed according to certain proportions as a composite curing agent, the zinc oxide-zinc-aluminum-chromium-phosphates(ACP-Zn O-Zn) were synthesized. The curing time, the curing temperature, the optimal amount of composite curing agent s were confirmed by the tensile shear strength test, TG-DSC, IR and XRD. The curing characteristics and heat-resistant properties were researched. In the range of 1~22 ?m waveband, the binder infrared emissivity can be reduced to 0.72.
