Research On The X100 High Strength Pipeline Steel Welding

In 2002,the construction of the West-East natural gas transmission project marked the beginning of the fourth pipeline construction of china.Over the past ten years,some major national key project have been completed,such as,the first to third of the West-East natural gas transmission project,the first to third of the Shanxi-beijing natural gas transmission project,the Mohe-Daqing pipelien project and the Sino-Burma Natural Gas Pipeline Project.The North-South and West-East pipe network system has been established.At the same time,the quality of the pipe base material has been improved from X65\X70 to X80.As well as,X100 will be the best choice for the distance pipeline in the future.This article checked lots of references in the distance pipeline and the welding of X100,and summarized main welding method and analysed whether X100 can be welded by traditional method.Then,we determined the main research direction of this article.On the basis of the analysis of the structure and property,and author’s work experience in more than ten years,we propose this scheme for new equipment and new technology.It obtained the new welding parameters in three ways of the automatic welding,semi-automatic welding and manual welding.As well as,it passed the mechanical property test of welding seam.Finally,the feasibility of the scheme is proved by the experiment results.
