Abstract/Summary:
Wood-plastic composite material (Wood Plastics Composites, referred to as WPC) is based on wood fiber and plant fiber (such as wood powder, straw, cotton stalk powder, bamboo powder, fruit powder) as the main component, after pretreatment with the thermoplastic resin (PE, PP, PVC, PS etc.) or other materials combined into a new environment-friendly composite material.In this paper, In this paper, by adding flame retardant with different blending method flame-retardant wood plastic composite materials, using modern analysis and testing technology and the traditional test method, studied the effect of non halogen flame retardant, mixed halogen free flame retardant flame retardant properties and mechanical properties of the composite agent effect and waste HDPE material on a single flame retardant structure and performance of the composite material. The research results show that:(1) By using the method of mixing, molding, with wheat straw powder and high density polyethylene as matrix, using 5% maleic anhydride grafted and adding different amount of flame retardant MH prepared a series of HDPE based wood plastic composite materials, studied the effects of flame retardant properties of different MH content on mechanical properties and physical properties and water absorption.The results show:when the MH content is 20%-30%, the flame retardant effect, thermal residual carbon rate is high, and the mechanical performance and physical properties are excellent.(2) Preparation of wheat straw Flame Retardant Composites Using 5% maleic anhydride grafted polyethylene based system, adding different content of APP flame retardant prepared a series of HDPE based wood plastic composite materials, the flame retardant properties of different APP content on the mechanical properties, as well as the influence of physical properties and water absorption. The results show:when the APP content is 15%-25%, the flame retardant effect very good materials, thermal residual carbon rate is very high, and the mechanical performance and physical characteristics is also excellent.(3) Preparation of wheat straw Flame Retardant Composites Using 5% maleic anhydride grafted polyethylene based system, adding different content of OMMT flame retardant prepared a series of HDPE based wood plastic composite materials, the flame retardant properties of different OMMT content on the mechanical properties, as well as the physical properties, water absorption and other effects. The results show:when the OMMT content is 3%-5%, the flame retardant effect of material is relatively good, thermal residual carbon rate is relatively high, and the performance and physical properties of various mechanical excellent.(4)Add the mixture of MH and OMMT to 5% maleic anhydride grafted polyethylene Jimai straw flame retardant composites, with different content of OMMT and MH flame retardant series HDPE wood plastic composite materials, the flame retardant properties of different combinations of OMMT and MH as well as the influence on the mechanical properties, physical properties and water absorption. The results show:when MH:OMMT=22%:3% flame retardant effect is relatively good, thermal residual carbon rate is relatively high, and the performance and physical properties of various mechanical is excellent, but the compound flame retardant effect just simple superposition of both flame retardant mechanism and no synergistic effect.(5) Add the mixture of MH and ZB to 5% maleic anhydride grafted polyethylene Jimai straw flame retardant composites, with different content of ZB and MH flame retardant series HDPE wood plastic composite materials, the flame retardant properties of different combinations of ZB and MH as well as the influence on the mechanical properties, physical characteristics and water absorption. The results show:when MH:ZB=18%:7% flame retardant effect is better and the performance and physical properties of various mechanical excellent, showed that MH and ZB has synergistic flame retardant effect, oxygen index and the residual carbon rate effect is not obvious, but the effect of smoke suppression materials have greatly improved.(6) Add the mixture of MH and APP to 5% maleic anhydride grafted polyethylene Jimai straw flame retardant composites, with different content of APP and MH flame retardant series HDPE wood plastic composite materials, the flame retardant properties of different combinations of APP and MH as well as the influence on the mechanical properties, physical properties and water absorption. The results show:when MH:APP=5%:20% flame retardant effect is very good and the mechanical performance and physical characteristics is very excellent, showed that MH and APP material has good synergistic effect, and can improve the mechanical properties of materials.(7) Add the mixture of APP and OMMT to 5% maleic anhydride grafted polyethylene Jimai straw flame retardant composites, with different content of OMMT and APP flame retardant series HDPE wood plastic composite materials, the flame retardant properties of different combinations of OMMT and APP as well as the influence on the mechanical properties, physical properties and water absorption. The results show:when APP:OMMT=17%:3% flame retardant effect is quite good, thermal residual carbon rate is very high, and the mechanical performance and physical properties are excellent, showed that the synergistic effect is very good when the content of OMMT and APP flame retardant when a small amount, but with the increase of OMMT content showed a synergistic effect between anti.(8) Add the mixture of APP and ZB to 5% maleic anhydride grafted polyethylene Jimai straw flame retardant composites, with different content of ZB and APP flame retardant series HDPE wood plastic composite materials, the flame retardant properties of different combinations of ZB and APP as well as the influence on the mechanical properties, physical properties and water absorption. The results show:when APP:ZB=15%:5% flame retardant effect is very good, thermal residual carbon rate is very high, and the mechanical performance and physical characteristics of excellent, showed that the ZB content within 5% and APP composite has good synergistic effect, and can improve the ability of anti tobacco material.(9) The preparation of wheat straw Flame Retardant Composites Using 5% maleic anhydride grafted waste HDPE, MH flame retardant wheat straw waste HDPE/wheat straw composites with different content, the waste HDPE polymer on the flame retardant properties of different MH content and on the mechanical properties, physical properties, water absorption and other effects. The results showed:MH flame retardant HDPE waste composite toughness and water absorption was improved, the oxygen index of the materials is unchanged, and the tensile, flexural properties and thermal residual carbon rate decreased significantly, that old HDPE has adverse effects on flame retardant MH composites.(10) the preparation of wheat straw Flame Retardant Composites Using 5% maleic anhydride grafted waste HDPE, APP flame retardant wheat straw waste HDPE/composites with different content, effects of waste HDPE polymer on the flame retardant properties of different APP content on the mechanical properties, as well as the physical properties and water absorption. The results showed:the basic mechanical properties of flame retardant APP waste HDPE composites, water absorption and its oxygen index were improved, but the material thermal residual carbon rate decreased significantly, that used HDPE on the mechanical properties of APP flame retardant composites improve the role and has a negative effect on flame retardantfor.(11) the preparation of wheat straw Flame Retardant Composites Using 5% maleic anhydride grafted waste HDPE, OMMT flame retardant wheat straw waste HDPE/ composites with different content, effects of waste HDPE polymer on the flame retardant properties of different OMMT content on the mechanical properties, as well as the physical properties and water absorption. The results showed that:water basic mechanical properties except the impact strength and performance, OMMT flame retardant HDPE composite material waste, the oxygen index and thermal residual carbon rate significantly decreased, the oxygen index of the materials and carbon residue rate showed that the flame retardant effect is very poor, that waste HDPE have various properties of OMMT flame Retardant Composites greatly adverse effects, so OMMT is not suitable to separate waste HDPE composite flame retardant.
