This paper is based on the "Steelmaking-Continuous Casting Process Production scheduling and process controlling coordinative optimization modular methods and applications" project which is a cooperation project of Northeastern University Institute of System Engineering and Baosight software company. We solve the problem about production plan simulation verification in practical production. The whole details like cranes’ operation cannot be considered when the production plan is worked out by models and algorithms. In addition, it will be interrupt by something uncertain. So the production plans may have some limitations. The significance of the simulation verification research is that the simulation system will anticipate all the details and uncertain events during the practical production, and verifying the production plan by simulation can not only actually reflect the application of production plan and production process, but also save the energy and time. It’s an economic and easy way to verify the plan.The main research of the paper is as follows:1) Aiming at the loss of heating furnace of slab hot rolling parameters which will be used during simulation, the BP neural network is used to identify the simulation parameters. Filter the existing production performance data of heating time, and confirm the training sample and the testing sample. Through lots of experiment and analysis, the structure and parameters of BP neural network will be confirmed. At last, the estimated parameters are worked out.2) Analyze and refine the key production indexes in SM-CC-HR production operation management. Steel mill, slabyard and HR mill are verified by simulation respectively. Furthermore, the integration plan will be verified by simulation and comes up with the indexes changes of the key production plan in different production plans.3) Came up with the details that the plans neglect can be performed by simulation, such as cranes in the mills, stack selection of slab location decision, stack transfer before slab out. The paper designs scheduling mode of cranes, slab location decision and stack transfer method.The results of the simulation show that Experimental results show that the simulation system has a very practical effect on verification, and the simulation verification method is appropriate to the steel enterprises.
