Motors are widely used in modern factories. The company mainly produces urea, and the plant design capacity is 450,000 tons of synthetic ammonia,800,000 tons of urea. There are 62 sets of motors in the ammonia plant and 54 units in the urea plant. With the process comes to long-term operation, the motor failure caused the device running unstable and serious economic losses. Reliability of the motor is getting more and more attention.RCM analysis theory is based on minimizing the overall cost of maintenance, improve system reliability and equipment maximize, mainly to optimize the use of equipment, maintenance, improvements, updates and other links. But for the domestic research of RCM system, it is still in infancy stage. The RCM management system is introduced in motor management. It has a higher value to promote the application of all the chemical plant system with RCM system.Thesis composition and working principle, the motor fault classification were reviewed, basic mathematical models and concepts were introduced RCM system introduced for equipment reliability and improve equipment reliability calculation. This study discusses the business for five years to some typical equipment failures, these failures, the factors affecting the failure of a more objective analysis for the establishment of the consequences of failure to establish a basis for evaluation.
