In this paper, using laser ignition induced SHS to make in-situ authigenic W containing hard particle reinforced FeAlCr-based compound material. The microstructure was analyzed by OM, XRD and characterize the mechanical properties of hardness, wear resistance and corrosion resistance, etc. Author studied the effect of the content of tungsten concentrate, WC and Cr powder on the sintered synthetic composite materials microstructure and macroscopic properties. The experimental results showed that:Using the (Fe-Cr)(40)-Al(60) composition as the matrix, with addition tungsten powder, the phases were AlFe, Al3Fe, Al2O3, WO3 and (Al-Cr)4Fe. The strip and particulate phases uniformly distributed in the matrix; when with addition WC powder, it got new phases like Fe2"W, WC and (Cr-Fe)7C3; when with change addition of Cr powder, the structure had a dense and fine distribution in the compound material. When the content of tungsten powder was 1wt%, the compound material got the best overall performance. But when WC content was 3wt%, the material achieved maxium density, the minimum porosity was 9.96%; passivation current density was 0.537mA/cm2, corrosion resistance was the best. When WC content was up to 5wt%, overall hardness of the material was highest; When WC content was 7wt%, the regional abrasion rate was lowest. Compared with the addition of tungsten concentrate powder, composites got the better corrosion resistance and higher hardness. On the basis of 1wt% content of tungsten powder, when the content of Cr in Fe50-x/2Al50-x/2Crx was 8at%, the regional abrasion rate was lowest, was 0.38mg/mm2. When the content of Cr was 12at%, the hardness of the material is highest, could be 705.7HV; passivation current density could only be 1.044mA/cm2, corrosion resistance was the best.
