Gas explosion is one of the major in coal mine which leads to death and injury. In order to study the law of temperature and pressure changes of gas explosion in the pipeline, base on the theory of gas explosion, the test system of gas explosion in the pipeline is used to analysis, and the acquisition system of explosion pressure and flame temperature are used to collect the data. The experiment detects the influence of different concentrations on the temperature and pressure peak, and the rules of the temperature and pressure peak change along with the distance of pipeline at the same ignition energy and position. The results show that the temperature and pressure peak increase along with the rising gas concentrations when the gas concentration is less than 9.5%. The maximum of temperature peak occurs the position which is closest to the explosion source on the same concentration, and has a downward trend gradually. The temperature peak in the pipeline which is close to the explosion source decreases obviously, and along with the extension of pipeline the temperature peak decreases slowly and gently. Temperature peak has a cubic function to propagation distance. The pressure peak of shock wave shows the volatility which increases at first, decreases later and increases again along with the pipeline transmission. Concentration of gas has a significant impact on the arrival time of temperature and pressure peak. The closer the gas concentration is close to 9.5%,the shorter the arrival time needed for temperature and pressure peak, at the same time the arrival time of temperature and pressure peak has a cubic function with the gas concentration. The experimental conclusion provides a theoretical basis to the research on the propagation law and characteristic of gas explosion in coal mine.
