In order to solve the problem about resource exhaustion and the utilization of wind, this paper designs hybrid power system about wind and electricity for Pumping Systems, and it opens up a new space of the development of wind power.Based on wind turbine, the system drives the air compressor with the supplement of electric motors. When wind is enough, air compression is driven by wind turbine, motor is in a resting state by this time. When wind is insufficient, air compression is driven to produce the compressed gas by motor. Then the compressed gas is stored for all kinds of pneumatic equipment, to realize the enough savings greatly.This system selects Siemens PLC-200 as cybernetics core, and every key link is collected, analyzed, disposed. According to these messages, PLC sends corresponding instructions to control the stop-start of machine, valves, switch, malfunction indicator and buzzer, it assures the whole system has a smooth and stable operation. MT6070iH2 is chosen as display and input device, operators can modify preinstall parameter and adjust the state of output device for efficiency and flexibility.Not only that, WinCC configuration software is installed to monitor working process and major parameter in real time on upper computer. That workers can make an accurate and timely judgment to abnormal situation, it insures the safety of the whole working process.Finally, process communication is set up through the connection between upper computer with WinCC and Siemens PLC-200. Then the system is debugged and the feasibility and stability are tested through experiment. By test, the system works steadily. And there are lots of advantages in this system, such as high degree of automation, good safety, lower cost, easy to maintain, no noise and pollution. This system will be broad prospects by continued improvement.
