Porous graphite has a very large surface area and good electrical conductivity, and it is the ideal electrode materials for supercapacitor. In this paper, based on the natural graphite (NG) as raw material, the porous graphite was prepared by graphite oxide with Hummers method and then microwave.Experiment results show that with the increasing of NG, KMnO4, concentrated H2SO4, low temperature time and microwave time, the specific surface area increases at first and then decreases. When the amount of NG, KMnO4 and concentrated H2SO4 is 10g,30g and 230ml, low temperature time is 2h and microwave time is 60s, the largest specific surface area is 323.81m2·g-1. Continuous adding water of high temperature is good for enhancing specific capacitance of sample. At the same time, the layer surface of obtained graphene is to be plicated and thin.In the 6mol·L-1 KOH solution, the specific capacitance increases at first and then decreases, with the increasing of NG, KMnO4, concentrated H2SO4, low temperature time and microwave time. And the condition of the maximum is the same to specific surface area. The highest discharge specific capacitance is 145F·g-1. Specific surface area and specific capacitance have correlation, and the larger specific surface area is good for enhancing specific capacitance of the sample.
