With the rapid development of modern industry, mechanized mining face capabilities continue to improve, our fully mechanized coal mining has lagged far behind the speed of mechanized mining rate, caused imbalance mining and tension splice, resulting imbalance mining, mining splice tension, The main reason is the imbalance caused by the current level of support operations takes longer and cannot meet the rapid excavation TBM support needs.High efficiency and safety in production of mine can depends on the rapid excavation and supporting of mining roadway. The main factors affects the excavation speed is the temporary support. Temporary support is an essential auxiliary process of permanent support, provides security for the working faces before permanent support. Therefore, how boring process to achieve fast, secure temporary support, enabling simultaneous tunneling, has become a mine of high yield, high efficiency, safety critical.This paper introduces a new type of coal mine tunnel temporary support device-Inchworm Coal Mine Roadway Temporary Support Device.This paper first puts the research idea of the Inchworm Coal Mine Roadway Temporary Support Device, Describes the overall structure of the devices for supporting and moving in the working surface and the specific embodiments and bearing principle. Described the hydraulic system required during the operation of the infrastructure device and the binding mode of the hydraulic system for the groups structure in the specific work. The device on the surface of the concrete work to study the actual situation, the maximum carrying capacity, determine the device need under the condition of fully improve safety coefficient of bearing parts are studied. Modify the model with the functions provided of the software. Finally, using the finite element software ANSYS on roadway temporary support device main bearing parts of the top beam and the base for analysis and structure optimization. Respectively, Analysis the top beam in the normal course of their work under maximum load and the roof fall.
