Height-regulating system is an important part of shearer, its performance has an direct effect on the work reliability, production capacity and production efficiency of shearer. With the increasing of competition in the market of shearer, the performance demands for shearer height-regulating system is becoming higher and higher.Height-regulating system is a complex system,which integrates machinery, electric and hydraumatic.It takes shearer’s automatic height-regulating system of a coal company as research project.Firstly,the model of height-regulating mechanical system is established in Pro/E,which is imported into ADAMS by using the MECHANISM/Pro interface.The modal neutral files of key components of height-regulating mechanical system are generated by ANSYS,which are imported into rigid body model in ADAMS,then a rigid-flex coupled virtual prototype model of height-regulating mechanical system is built.According to the actual working condition,the instantaneous loads of drum are simulated by Matlab,which are applied to the virtual prototype model.The dynamics simulation analysis is made,and the results show that the key parts of height-regulating mechanical system can meet the strength requirement, and the design is reasonable.Then,the model of height-regulating hydraulic system is built in AMESim,which is coupled with the mechanical system model built in ADAMS.By analyzing co-simulation the mechanical and hydraulic system, it shows that the design of hydraulic system is reasonable and can meet the requirement.Finally,it establishes the mathematical model of electro-hydraulic proportional position control system of automatic height-regulating system,which is simulated in MATLAB/Simulink. The Bode diagram and step response curve shows the system can meet the needs of automatic control system for stability, quickness and accuracy.This paper can provide lessons for the design and optimization of shearer automatic height-regulating system in the future,and it has certain guidance functions to engineering practice.
