The experiment with doped electrode as the anodes, stainless steel plate as cathode, then laboratory simulation of degradation of phenol wastewater by electro catalytic oxidation was studied according to the difficult degrading of phenolic wastewater. The experiment investigated systematically the wastewater pH, plate voltage, initial concentration, reaction time, plate spacing, oxygen and other factors on the electric catalytic treatment effect, and the dynamics equation of phenol degradation was discussed. This experiment showed that these conditions were the suitable technological conditions of Ruthenium iridium tin doping electrode catalytic oxidation degradation of phenol when the pH value was 3, the electrode voltage was 36V, the reaction time was 180min, electrode spacing was 1cm,and aeration rate was 1L/min.Under above conditions, its removal rate reached more than 98%.At the same time, the experiment also studied degradation effect and degradation kinetics of catechol, hydroquinone, o-nitrophenol,p-nitrophenol in phenol homologues.Through the discussion of the dynamics equations of phenol degradation process could be known that the electric catalytic oxidation degradation such as phenol all accorded with first order reaction kinetics characteristics.
