As one of the most popular steelmaking way, converter steelmaking is a complex physical and chemical reaction process. The main purpose is to smelt qualified molten steel, in the tem perature, carbon and alloy content. But the it is difficult to measure the whole process precisel y. So that we cannot control the process in the traditional way. If we rely on the artificial expe rience to control the endpoint, it would be hard to control the quality and consumption. So it Is necessary to induct automation to the steelmaking process, in order to improve the liquid steel quality, labor productivity, and reduce the cost.In the (article), after the steelmaking process analysis, the author designed and realized the one-button-to-push steelmaking automation control system in Shougang Jingtang Iron & Steel United Co., Ltd. The main works followings:(1) According to the real need, established the control thought of one-button-to-push. And described the hardware composition and the function design of the software in the L1 and L2 system.(2)Based on the control problem of the main influence, such as the temperature and carbon content. After detailed understanding of the converter steelmaking model, the author proposed the neural network based on the RBF technique. And the tech is used in the static model and dynamic model of the converters,and compared the result of the model with the actual data.(3) According to the practice, using intelligence PID?Section PID etc. to design and achieve the control of oxygen lance position, Oxygen flux, feeding and liquid position in the primary system.(4)Introduce the prac tical use of the One-button-to-push steelmaking automation control system.In the article through the detailed design of the L1 and L2 system, realized the one-button-to-push steelmaking automation control system in Shougang Jingtang Iron & Steel United Co., Ltd. It might suggest lessons for the domestic in the technology renovation.
