Rubber processing analyzer plays a vital role during the formula design, new product development and production of rubber. The measurement and control system is the key part to the performance of the rubber processing analyzer. In this paper, a rubber processing analyzer is designed which is composed of PC and dedicated controller after the functional requirements analysis.Firstly, the function of the special controller was determined and the content of hardware was planned according to the structure and function requirements of the rubber processing, including the selection of core processor and circuit design. The controller used the architecture of DSP + FPGA. The major assignment of DSP was position servo, data processing, Ethernet and RS485 communication. The left task was completed by FPGA. Then, the specific contents of the measurement and control system was realized based on the hardware platform, main including FFT algorithm based on DSP, and the development of the internal function modules of FPGA.In order to provide sinusoidal oscillation for the rubber vulcanization test, and to make preparation for the expansion of other test mode of rubber processing analyzer, the system choose the direct drive rotor motor which is the control object. By the research and simulation, a compound control of insertion of repetitive and PID control was selected as the control scheme of system, and the feasibility and effectiveness of the algorithm is verified by experiment.The performance was analyzed, in the process of rubber vulcanization, the relationship between the torque and viscous torque, the calculation method of elastic strain and compound torque is deduced, and other related parameters by fast Fourier transform was determined by the simulation as a parameter identification method, data processing method of other performance parameters are calculated, and through the actual vulcanization experiments verify the feasibility of the method of data processing.
