Dendrimers are three-dimensional molecules having internal cavity and rich reactive terminal groups. As a result of their unique behaviors, dendrimers are able to a wide range of applications in chemistry, biomedicine, catalysis, and photoelectric material. During past few years, ionic liquids have kept attracting much attention and have emerged as potential chemicals on both laboratory and industrial scales, owing to their unique chemical and physical properties. Hexachlorophosphazene(HCCP) is an inorganic compound with a cyclic backbone consisting of alternating phosphorus and nitrogen atoms. They have wide applications due to their stability, capable of modification, optical property, and friendly to environment.In this thesis, took HCCP derivatives as the core, we have synthesized certain generation dendritic ionic liquids. Then, their physical and chemical properties have been studied.The main points were listed below:1. Generation 1 dendritic ionic liquids were synthesized by quaternization of HCCP derivatives and tertiary amines, pyridine, alkyl imidazole. Then NMR, MS were used to characterize.2. The optimal synthetical conditions of dendritic ionic liquids have heen explored. The result showed:(1) Steric hindrance inhibited tertiary amine type dendritic ionic liquid, meanwhile had little influence on alkyl-imidazole type dendritic ionic liquid.(2) Solvents that dissolve both substrates and products can prevent defects.(3) The branching molecules need to be a large excess over core molecules.(4) High concentration would promote the reaction.(5) Side reaction and side product can be reduced by ingredient purification and light-free, oxygen-free procession.3. Based on synthetical condition of generation 1 dendritic ionic liquids, generation 2 dendritic ionic liquid has been achieved by tetramethylethylenediamine type dendritic ionic liquid reacting to n-Butyl bromide, and NMR, MS were used to characterize.4. Synthesis of cross-link poly ionic liquids: Imidazole type and amine type ionic liquid cross-link polymers were discovered by HCCP derivatives reacting to amine and dichloroethane.And thermo-gravimetric analysis showed that ethyl-imidazole type dendritic ionic liquid and cross-link poly ionic liquids exhibited the excellent thermal stability.In general, seven generation 1 dendritic ionic liquids, one generation 2 dendritic ionic liquid and two cross-link poly ionic liquids were prepared and characterized.And thermo-gravimetric analysis was performed to test the thermal stability.
