With the rapid development of the global economy, on a globle scale, the plastic industry has been developed at a high speed, the output of waste plastic also increases continuously, which will bring a lot of serious problems to the environment. The processing of waste plastic, which is known as the "white pollution", is a difficult problem. So how to deal with the waste plastic, turn it into wealth, realize the comprehensive utilization of resources has been the topic of concern.After comparing and analyzing several current commonly used processing method and deep study of the mechanism of microwave pyrolysis in this paper, an experimental furnace which uses microwave pyrolysis technology to process waste plastics and also can get available fuel, gas, carbon black and other substances has been developed. Aiming at all kinds of disadvantages during processing waste plastic, this furnace adopted new creative microwave heating mode, realized the continuous feeding and discharging in the cracking process, and greatly improved the speed and efficiency of cracking. Compared with the previous experimental furnaces, this one not only has simple structure, low cost, but also has no pollution, so it is more easy to popularized and applied.The waste plastic microwave pyrolysis experiment furnace adopts the design scheme of up-feed bottom-discharge. The system depends on the microwave transmitter which converts electric energy into heat energy to provide energy for cracking reaction. The system mainly includes the storage device, cracking cavity and experimental furnace insulation, discharging device and oil and gas processing system.The experiments were conducted using microwave pyrolysis experimental furnace, and the results showed that this furnace has high cracking efficiency and pyrolysis products with good quality; these experiments verified the reliability, low energy consumption, and no environmental pollution of the experimental furnace, and the experimental furnace can be continuously produced.Through the further optimization design, the experimental furnace can meet the requirements of the processing of waste plastics.
