Spatial heterogeneity has an important impact on the survival of species in ecosys-tems.It is a very meaningful task to study the dynamic evolution of predator-prey system with epidemic disease in heterogeneous habitats. In this paper, based on the cellular automaton, the effects of infection rate, lethality and the distribution of heteroge-neous habitats on eco-epidemicology system are studied.First, this paper presents a new algorithm to generate spatial heterogeneous habitat, which overcomes the shortcomings of previous algorithms and can obtain more satisfactory spatial heterogeneous habitats. Then, the evolution dynamics of the predator-prey system in which both prey and preda-tor share the same disease is studied in the established heterogeneous cellular space, and the relationship among the lethality, infection rate and the distribution of heterogeneous habitats on population density under the equilibrium is given in the habitats with dif-ferent degrees of fragmentation and aggregation. The results show that:(1)Predator is more sensitive to habitat destruction, but heterogeneous habitats play a protective role on prey in the heterogeneous habitat where predators and prey share the same disease with the same infection rate.(2)In different habitats, the population size of predator and prey shows a nonlinear peak with the change of infection rate, and the population size is almost zero when the infection rate is very low or very high.(3)When the infection rate is a certain value, the predator population increases with increasing disease lethality in prey population, and the prey population rapidly decreases with increasing disease lethality in the predator population. When the lethality of the predator population is greater, both species will be extinct.(4)Heterogeneous habitats which have the same degree of fragmentation and aggregation and different patch distributions can be similarly recognized as several heterogeneous habitats with different degrees of fragmentation and aggregation. The results of this study have certain guiding significance for the further understanding of ecosystem and biological protection.
