Vegetation plays a significant role in conserving the natural environment and improving the human living environment for humans.Thus,to build a long time sequence of vegetation cover change detection for understanding the vegetation growth and ecological environment changes in a region is of great importance.This paper takes the Huang-Huai-Hai Plain as the study area,and uses the data of the MOD09A1 surface reflectance as data source to construct the vegetation index data set of the vegetation normalization in the Huang-Huai-Hai Plain from 2001 to 2013.On this basis,the trend and characteristics of the NDVI changes in the interannual and four seasons of the Huang-Huai-Hai Plain are monitored by the trend change method,the difference method and the standard difference method.And then discuss the Huang-Huai-Hai Plain 13 a ofvegetation coverage change tendency and draw the following conclusions:1.During the monitoring period,the vegetation coverage in study area showed an overall improvement trend,while some areas showed a degradation trend.On the interannual variation nodes,the vegetation coverage of the Yanshan mountains,the Taihang Mountain mountains,the Funiu mountain range,the Dabie mountain range and the hilly highland of the central Shandong Province showed an obvious upward trend,and the vegetation coverage of the the Yellow River basin,Weishan Lake,Hongze lake and other lakes and large cities with superior geographical location showed a degradation trend.2.The result of Annual and seasonal vegetation coverage is consistent.In the difference detection,the NDVI change of farmland in the Huang-Huai-Hai Plain is the smallest,and the NDVI change in the Yellow River,Huaihe,and other rivers and lakes is the largest.3.In terms of the stability of vegetation cover change,the vegetation cover changes near the waters of the Yellow River,Haihe River,Huaihe,Weishan Lake and Dongping Lake in the Huang-Huai-Hai Plain are the most volatile.On the seasonal scale,the vegetation cover changes in the eastern plain of Hebei province are more turbulent in spring,and the vegetation cover changes in eastern Henan Province,Jiangsu Province,southwest of Shandong Province and Anhui Province are more volatile in winter.4.Thecorrelation between NDVI and precipitation in the Huang-Huai-Hai Plain is only related to the Yan Shan Mountain,TaiHang Mountain,the Yellow River,JiaoZhou Peninsula,and the vegetation in these regions is dominated by natural vegetation,woodland and grassland,while other regions are negatively correlated or unrelated,and the correlation between NDVI and temperature is higher.The region is mainly distributed in the central plain of Hebei province.The change of landuse in different years is the main reason for the change of vegetation cover,especially in the river waters of the Huang-Huai-Hai Plain,and the expansion and reduce of the scope of water area are the main causes of the fluctuation of NDVI in different time.The conversion from cultivated land to construction land around the city is the main cause of vegetation degradation.Bycomparing the vegetation continuous field of the Huang-Huai-Hai Plain in different years,it is found that the increase of biological production is one of the factors that can't be ignored in vegetation cover change in the Huang-Huai-Hai Plain.
