Preliminary Research On Habitat Selection And Food Preference Of Reintroduction Red-crowned Cranes

The number of feeding breeding Red-crowned Crane populations in China have enough to support the red-crowned crane reintroduction project.Start the artificial breeding of redcrowned crane reintroduction and tracking projects in the National Natural Science Fund,in cooperation with a number of units.In Nov-Dec 2013 and Jan-Mar 2015,In Jiangsu Yancheng National Nature Reserve and Heilongjiang Lindian protection station of reintroduction 16 red crowned cranes.The research object are 16 of reintroduction red-crowned cranes.Research the reintroduction of Red-crowned Crane habitat selection mechanism,changes in food preference and movement range of activities.Understand the reintroduction of red-crowned crane for wild adaptation strategies.The sample method was adopted in this experiment,fecal microscopic analysis method and stomach content method,the minimum convex polygon method,with the help of satellite positioning site investigation and direct field observation.The results are as follows: Reserve released 1 years survival rate of crane is53.33%,The rate of lost contact was 20%,and the mortality was 26.67%.There are some countermeasures to the crane reintroduction to the wild environment,it is shown that the feeding strategy is the food factor first,and the vigilance concealment is the secondary.The strategy of choosing the night environment to take water and shelter as the first factor,taking into account the vigilance and food factors.The reintroduction of red-crowned crane has the ability to get rid of artificial feeding who can feeding alone.The order of plants are Gramineae,Chenopodiaceae,Cyperaceae,Potamogetonaceae.Before and after extreme climate,There was no significant difference in the range of movement and distance for reintroduction red crowned cranes(P>0.5).Experienced many extreme weather after the reintroduction of red-crowned crane is still alive.Influence of the reintroduction of the red-crowned crane has the ability to survive extreme weather.no warning to human activities.the human factors interfere in there.The Lindian station released the red-crowned crane stomach content analysis showed that the red-crowned crane is also dependent on artificial feeding.It should fully consider the objective conditions of the individual and the reintroduction into reintroduction.In Jiangsu Yancheng the reintroduction of red-crowned crane have reproductive behavior.No migration behavior.The reintroduction of crane and wild cranes alert distance of roughly the same,and stress response to human activities in the normal range.In the above case of Red Crowned Crane reintroduction has certain feasibility.
