One of the most widely used and mature models in the mathematical model is the mathematical model of population ecology,and the mathematical model of population ecology often appears in differential form.The estimation of the parameters of the population ecological mathematical model is the prerequisite for the model to be applied,but the biometrics and population ecology are not well cross-fused in both directions.The linear statistical model is rich and perfect.It is one of the most widely used models in modern statistics.It can solve the problems of biology,medicine,agriculture,industry and so on with linear statistical model,and it is also the basis of other statistical model research or application.Therefore,this paper mainly studies the application of the knowledge of linear statistical model to the parameter estimation of population ecological mathematical model with differential form.Based on the linear regression model,the nonlinear Richards growth curve equation is linearized,and the Richards growth curve equation is calculated by linear least squares method,two direction difference error square sum least estimation method and two direction difference weighted least squares estimation method respectively,and finally through contrasting examples to illustrate the Richards growth curve equation applicability and the effectiveness of parameter estimation.In addition,multiple Richards growth curve equations may appear to be irrelevant,but in reality have a certain relationship.These equations should be studied as a whole and we establish Richards growth curve equations.A quasi generalized least squares estimation method for seemingly unrelated regression equations models were used to estimate Richards growth curve equations of seemingly unrelated regressions.Finally,the Richards growth curve equations is applied to the concrete example,and the fitting error of the seemingly unrelated regressions of the Richards growth curve equations is smaller than independent Richards growth curve equation.
