Thin reservoir prediction is the emphasis and difficulty in the present field of oil-gas exploration, and is also the key point in this paper. The survey region of this paper is Xiliu-Zhaohuangzhuang area of Lixian slope in Raoyang sag,the main target zone is Es1 section. The advantage of regional structural location provides favorable conditions for the development of reservoir. However, the reservoir is thin in vertical direction and the thin sand bodies superimpose each other, the lateral variation of reservoir is fast as well as the connectivity is poor,so it is difficult to predict reservoir.According to those problems, this paper will focus on thin reservoir prediction in this area. For the problem of thin sand bodies superimposing each other, first of all, this paper confirms the background of reservoir by studying the regional geological characteristics, and confirms the sedimentary microfacies by analyzing sedimentary characteristics.Secondly, based on high resolution 3D seismic data, the paper combines drilling, logging, and oil testing data etc,and uses waveform classification on the basis of 90-degree phase shift to make sure the areal extent of favorable zones.Next,it predicts the efficient reservoir reasonably by pre-stack elastic impedance inversion. Finally, the paper estimates the thickness of reservoir information accurately by pre-stack geostatistical inversion and analyzing sedimentary microfacies,so as to realize the prediction of thin reservoir of the target zone in this region.
