With the exploration of oil and gas gradually transferring to complex reservoirs, there is no longer a one-to-one correspondence between seismic reflection events on seismic section and subsurface interface. Therefore, the conventional seismic interpretation methods encounter problems for reservoir description.Seismic inversion combined with seismic attribute analysis has become an important means for complex reservoir prediction. In order to further study prediction methods of the current thin interbed reservoir, the corresponding geological models are designed.Based on the 3D model data,we analyze the influence of key inversion factors on inversion results in the post-stack inversion, which mainly including well data, horizons, seismic wavelet, the initial model and inversion method, etc.Through the analysis,we conclude that the initial model has great influences on the inversion results for the thin interbed model, while the wavelet has little effect on the inversion results. The study of the seismic methods shows that: inversion based on model can get accurate low-frequency component under well-constrained,but it can not produce high-frequency component beyond the effective frequency band of seismic data. While the sparse-spike inversion can obtain high-frequency component, however,it has a risk of introducing false result.A 2D model is exploited to analyze the inversion results of pre-stack simultaneous inversion and post-stack inversion.Which shows that the inversion result of P-impedance based on pre-stack simultaneous inversion is more accurate than the inversion result of S-impedance,also S-impedance inversion result is better than the density inversion result. As well as,the inversion result of P-impedance based on pre-stack simultaneous inversion is better than the result based on post-stack inversion. The experiment of this paper can provide a guidance for choosing appropriate inversion parameters and methods during inversion.
