Field geological survey is an important approach for geology research,and the field data obtained is the basis of geology research.With the development of satellite communication technology,remote sensing,GIS technology and the trend in big data for geology,field geological auxiliary system based on 3S technology is widely used in geological survey,improving the efficiency of data acquisition,systemic,safety and accuracy.Real-time data acquisition and interaction is of great significance to field geologist.Geological survey in rural areas,however,often in a weak network environment,and network access of condition is bad,resulting an increase in time costs for real-time data interactive and restricting the communication between users to some extend.Based on the characteristics of field geological survey,this paper puts forward the solution of remote sensing auxiliary field geological survey system in weak network environment.The content mainly includes:(1)In view of the insufficiency in existing field geological survey system,combined with multi-source remote sensing image,beidou mobile communication terminal,and existing open source software and hardware equipment,such as open source GIS technology,Android smartphones,we designed a remote sensing auxiliary field geological survey prototype system in weak network;(2)Real-time data transmission and data processing outcomes obtain result in a long time cost under weak network condition.This study put forward a terminal-processing application for processing and displaying satellite imagery.It effectively reduces the number of interaction between the mobile terminal and the server side,and the amount of data to be transmitted and the time cost of the data transmission.The comparison with existing solutions in sequence diagram and time cost in image processing and data transmission elaborate the advantage and efficiency of the approach in reducing the times of mobile client and the server interaction under the weak network environment;(3)As for the difficulty in real-time communication between users and their peers or headquarters(resident),this study used the basis product of beidou satellite navigation system--Beidou box,to realize the real-time manage for the position and safety status of users.
