Hu,Bao,E,there three cities are the core areas of the central and western Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.The special geological landforms have resulted in frequent lighting activity in the region,which is one of the key areas of national mine disaster reduction work.Lightning monitoring is an important foundation for lightning research and lightning protection.Lightning locating system is the most commonly used and direct means for lightning monitoring.The lighting location system in the meteorological department of Inner Mongolia has been basically perfect after years of construction.But the relevant study on the error correction and detection efficiency assessment of the lighting eating system data has not been carried out.The inaccuracy of lightning location data has become an important factor that restricts the further application of lightning locating system to various lightning protection operations.In this paper,the reasons of the error of the lightning locating system are analyzed and discussed.It is found that the site error is the main source of the error of the magnetic orientation method.In this paper,a set of site error optimization model suitable for this region has been improved,which has been tested through radar echo and mine disaster cases.The test results show that the optimization model of the site error has some applicability in the Hu,Bar and E area.Then,the error curve of the three sites of Lingeer,Qingshan and Dongsheng of Baotou is drawn by using the optimization model,and the lightning location data in 2011-2016 is corrected by the error curve.On this basis,the lighting density map of 1km×1km of Hu,Bay and E area is drawn.Site error curve and lightning density map can be directly applied to the actual work in the future.In this paper,the reasons of the error of the lightning locating system are analyzed and discussed.It is found that the site error is the main source of the error of the magnetic orientation method.In this paper,a set of site error optimization model suitable for this region has been improved,which has been tested through radar echo andLightning disaster.The test results show that the optimization model of the site error has some applicability in the Hu,Bar and E area.Then,the error curve of the three sites of Lingeer,Qingshan and Dongsheng of Baotou is drawn by using the optimization model,and the lightning location data in 2011-2016 is corrected by the error curve.On this basis,the lighting density map of 1km×1km of Hu,Bay and E area is drawn.Site error curve and lightning density map can be directly applied to the actual work in the future.
