With the rapid development of urbanization in China, the demand for mineral resources is also growing. How to find mineral resources faster and more efficiently has become an important issue. The Manzhouli-Xinbaerhuyouqin Banner section in Inner Mongolia is an important non-ferrous metal and precious metal mineral area in China. There are many types of mineralization in the study area, including porphyry copper-molybdenum mineralization, dolomite mineralization,skarn-type mineralization, magmatic hydrothermal magnetite mineralization, and manganese mineralization. The metal minerals such as copper, molybdenum, iron, and non-metallic minerals such as dolomite, coal, and limestone have been found in the region.Although copper, molybdenum, dolomite, coal, and other minerals, including large and small deposits, were found in the study area, the output of minerals in the Ergun-Upper Heilongjiang-Gangren metallogenic belt adjacent to Russia In comparison, the number and scale are quite different, and obviously there is still a large space for prospecting. Most of the research contents in the study area are based on traditional ore prospecting methods, but the research on remote sensing ore prospecting methods is not very thorough. This paper summarizes the metallogenic geological background of the Manzhouli area of Inner Mongolia. On the basis of previous remote sensing prospecting techniques, the geologic interpretation of the GF-1 and SPOT data of the study area and the extraction of abnormal alteration information of the Aster data are carried out;this is combined with the area of the study area.Mineralization characteristics and field verification, removal of interference and summary of copper ore deposit prospecting model.Through this study, the main achievements are:1.Acquired GF-1,SPOT and Aster satellite imagery, providing a good foundation for the geological interpretation and alteration information extraction of the study area.2.Based on GF-1 and SPOT data, interpret the lithology and structure of the study area by means of human-computer interaction visual interpretation, and obtain a geological interpretation map.3.After pretreatment of Aster data, principal information analysis, ratio method and SAM method were used to extract information of alteration anomaly in the study area.Aluminum hydroxy groups are widely distributed in the study area.Magnesium hydroxyl anomalies are mainly distributed in the western half of the study area.Iron dyes(mainly Fe3+)are mainly distributed in the eastern half of the study area.Carbonate is less distributed in the study area. The distribution around the dolomite deposits in the northeast provides the basis for the subsequent prospecting model.4.Field investigations were conducted to verify geological interpretation and alteration information extraction. After rock spectrum analysis, neutral rocks and acid rocks have obvious absorption valleys at 1400-1500 nm and 1900-2000 nm,and reflection peaks at 1700 nm and2100 nm,which are consistent with the spectral characteristics of aluminum hydroxyls;magnetite The measured spectrum and the standard spectrum curve also have little difference and have credibility. The analysis of the rock slice shows that the rock is crushing under the influence of the structure, and it produces a slight limonite mineralization, which is consistent with the spectrum and the image map;it provides guarantee for the extraction of alteration information.5.Based on the geological interpretation map and alteration information extraction map, combined with geological data, summed up the copper or molybdenum ore deposit prospecting model, and provided an advantageous method for future prospecting work in this region.
