Biosafety is now becoming a great threat to humankind in the 21 st century,a key approach for decision maker to deal with which is biosafety intelligence analysis.However,there lacks the support of an efficient theoretical framework to do the analysis currently.Under this circumstance,this paper proposed the multilayer networks of biosafety based on open source data.The main contributes are list as follows.First,proposed analysis framework about the multilayer networks to analyze biosafety intelligence,which includes complex networks constructed by actions,agents,events and places respectively.Based on domain ontology model,this paper formally defines the complex networks mentioned above.Moreover,this paper formally defines the algorithms based on the analysis framework.These works can be the theoretical support of biosafety intelligence analysis.Second,the analysis of “biohack” networks and researcher networks,which is an instance of analysis based on the proposed analysis framework.The instance includes statistical properties analysis of the two networks,hubs detection of the two networks and the dynamic evolution analysis of researcher networks using a proposed algorithm,Dynamic Non-negative Matrix Factorization,DNMF.Third,designed and implemented the application platform of the proposed framework.Based on open source data,this paper designs the User-Case Models,conceptual models,user interfaces and Web Service interfaces of this platform.It integrates the data structures and some algorithms of the proposed framework,which can analyze the biosafety intelligence completely.This paper has finished the construction of the multilayer,heterogeneous,networks of biosafety,and formally defined the algorithms running on the framework.Additionally,this paper constructs the two complex networks,i.e.,“biohack” networks and researcher network.And then do some analysis of the two networks,the results of which includes the statistical properties of the two networks,the hubs of the two networks and the evolution of the membership of the researcher networks.
