The study area belongs to the Ejina Banner Inner Mongolia autonomous region,located in the desert gobi,sparsely populated,traffic occlusion.The Triassic Shanhujing formation is the stratigraphic unit discovered and delineated during the implementation of the 1: 50,000 regional mineral geological survey project,predecessors 1: 200,000 area transferred to the stratigraphy into the Carboniferous Lvtiaoshan group.Based on previous research on the basic theory sedimentary petrology,paleontology,mineral deposits as a guide,based on the field survey profile,route survey data,combined with trace element analysis data,particle size analysis data,general information sheets,geophysical data,soil geochemical data,etc.,sedimentary rock,sedimentary environment Triassic strata,forming era and prospecting potential analysis and research,get the following results and awareness:(1)The original Carboniferous Lvtiaoshan formation in the northeastern corner of Guaizihu is classified into the Triassic Shanhujing formation by comparison with the characteristics of the rock assemblage and paleontological assemblage in the area.The age is late Triassic.(2)According to the difference of rock assemblages in the Triassic Shanhujing formation,the Shanhujing formation is divided into upper and lower sections,and the lower part is the coarse clastic assemblage,the main lithology is: magenta-reddish brown conglomerate,gravel sandstone,fine sandstone cycle;the upper section is a fine clastic rock assemblage,the main lithology is: gray-gray coarse sandstone-fine sandstone-siltstone-mudstone cycle.(3)Based on a large number of field measurements and laboratory data of the Triassic strata in the study area,combined with rock color,structure,structure,particle size analysis,trace elements such as sedimentary facies signs,The sedimentary facies are divided into two sedimentary facies,five sedimentary facies and eight sedimentary microfacies,namely,braided river facies and meandering river facies.The braided river facies are divided into river bed subfacies,flood plain subfacies;The meandering river is divided into river bed subfacies,river subfacies and embankment subfacies.The sedimentary subfacies can be divided into different sedimentary microfacies.(4)The abundance of As,Sb,Pb and W in the Triassic Shanhujing formation is higher and the correlation is better,the high element values are mainly distributed in the Shanhujing group,the geochemical anomaly distribution in this area is consistent with that of the Shanhujing formation,The results show that the abundance of As,Sb,Pb and W is high and the potential of prospecting is high.
