Geological Characteristics And Genesis Of Dangshan Gold Deposit In Shaanxi Province,China

Since Proterozoic era,a series of tectonic events has happened on Dabashan tectonic zone,rich mineral resources were formed from in the course of movement.Based on the project of Dangshan gold exploration in Shiquan county,Shaanxi Province,the lithofacies of the gabbro are classifed,the geological characteristics of the gold mineralized belt located in the transition of the gabbro and also the relationship of the tectonic hydrothermal fluids and the mineralizen altertion are studied,then the metallogenic geological characteristics and the ore genesis discussed,and also the metallogenic stages are divided.Through the conclusion of the metallogenic regularity and the prospecting criteria of the gold ore belt located in the gabbro alteration zone,this paper pointed out the direction for the future ore prospecting.The following new views and progresses were concluded by this paper:The crumple crush zone located in the gabbro vein is the main ore-controlling fracture,the gabbro is the main ore hosting geological body of the gold minerals.The tectonic evolution of the study area has experienced 5 stagesis,the magmatic intrusion stage,the compression deformation stage,the overturned anticline stage caused by the continuous compression deformation,the uplift erosion stage and the stable stage.However,the hydrothermal activities from the tectono magmatic activity of the first three stages played a critical role in the activation,migration and enrichment of gold elements in mineralization.The gold ore belt is basically distributed with the secondary crumple compression fracture zone or fracture zone,Early Palaeozoic gabbro is the source bed of Dangshan gold deposit.Multistage tectonic activity impels gold element continuously to active,migrated and enriched,and the fracture structure provides good activation migrationthe power,approach and ore hosting space for gold mineralization.It could be concluded that the Dangshan gold deposit is a structural altered cataclastic rock type Au deposit.It could be concluded some suggestions for how to expand Dangshan subsequent gold prospecting,the contact area between gabbro with Cambrian Ordovician gudonghe group is the focus of the next section of gold prospecting,next gold bearing property of the potential evaluation and exploration work should be focus on this contact area.
