Allocation and transportation of ores and rocks is a key link in the process of mining complex system.Transportation cost is very high in the mine,so save freight is an effective means to reduce production cost.It can improve the economic benefit of mine significantly to find the optimal deployment of ores and rocks' transport scheme through scientific method.The new method of optimization design for mining general transportation was proposed by study the allocation and transportation of ores and rocks combining with operational research theory.The problem of ores and rocks' allocation and transportation was solved with the simplex method of linear programming.The complex calculation and data processing was realized with the aid of computer.The optimal solution can be find out when there are multiple feasible solutions.Coordinate transportation equipment and distribute of ores and rocks reasonably,found the lowest cost of transportation for mine design and production management.The simplex method of linear programming is the general iterative algorithm for solving linear programming problem.By seeking and transformating basic feasible solution in the boundary of the feasible region,the optimal solution is finally obtained.Shougang shuichang mine was an example.the optimal solution was found by the simplex method of linear programming and the lowest cost transportation scheme was Found.At first,The real problem was converted to standard mathematical model.The distance and the regression equation of the freight for automobile,railway and tape machine by regression analysis.Secondly,combining with the relevant model parameters,prepare the transport balance sheet.The beginning sheet was formed according to the requirements of application format.At last,the optimal arrangement scheme was found through the VB program in two stages.In the process of solving the transportation problem,mathematics,operations research,systems engineering and computer science technology was used in the design of general plan of modern mines.Combined with multi-disciplinary and experience of the designer,transportation system design and logistics management achieved the optimum economic effect.Linear programming method can solve mining,transportation,mining planning and planning of resources utilization,and many other problems,so It has a broad application space in the mine.
