The research that the thesis relys on comes from the subsystem of the SESRI(Space Environment Simulation and Research Infrastructure)in HIT,SPERF(Space Plasma Enviroment Research Facility).The magnet subsystem of SPERF forms the magnetic field of physical experiments to control the dynamics of plasma and simulate the space plasma phenomenon.The thesis is mainly aimed at the design and analysi of coils electromagnetic parameters including determining the electromagnetic parameters according to the constraits and physical demand,calculating the interaction between coils and the eddy current induced on the vaccum cessel.First,we analyze the demand of the magnetic field with respect to the simulation of magnetic reconnection in magnetosphere boundary and earth radiation belts.Based on the similarities of physical mechanics,the parameters of magnetic sheath and magnetosphere top can be decided by the Vlasov's equation and the parameters of laboratory dipole field can be derived from the ideal MHD theory.Then,the thesis illuminates the process of electromagnetic parameters deisgn in detail.Starting with the relation of the electromagnetic parameters and its constraits in general case,we clarify the restriction on electromagnetic parameters by the magnetic field,pulse feature and coil energy,find out the principles of the electromagnetic design of coils and apply it to the five kinds of coils involved in the thesis.Further,the electromagnetic interaction which appears as the mutual inductance and electromagnetic force between coils is discussed.The thesis calculates the mutual inductance and electromagnetic force in all cases that are from the classification of the position relationship to provide the input for the mechanical design and circuit simulation.In the last,we compute the eddy current induced on the vaccum vessel and equals the damping effect of eddy current on the pulsed current with the circuit variables which will be derived.Based on the design of electromagnetic parameters,mutual inductance analysis and eddy current calculation,we show the circuit simulation of the typical scenarios and present the overall electromagnetic characteristics of the system to provide necessary basis for the power design.
