Research On Mineralogy Characteristics Of Gold Ore In Sharaf Abad Gold Deposit Of Iran

Sharaf Abad gold deposit located at East Arzarbaijan province Iran,in the volcanic metallogenic belt,is the quartz vein.This study reaserch on the deposit controlling factors and the prospecting marks through the detail and systemic chemical composition analysis and mineralogy study.chemical analysis and mineralogical study of typical samples from Sharaf Abad gold deposit show that Ag-Au is the main mineral and natural gold exist in the edge of few Ag-Au mineral;the ore types are mainly sulfide Au quartz vein oxidized ores and sulfide Au quartz vein primary ore,the ore in complex forms,mainly with long granular.Secondly,is sharp,dendritic,granular,granular and linear angle rounded;gold particle size is mianly with fine grained(0.01--0.037mm)natural gold,accounting for 79.66%,followed by gold particles(less than 0.01mm)accounted for 20.34%;the occurrence of gold is mainly intergranular gold,accounting for about 79.61%,as the main type of existence gold,the inclusion gold accounted for 16.51%,and fissure gold comparatively small part,accounting for 3.88%;the experimental results show that the embedded type gold,intergranular gold,The Intergranular gold and fissure gold is comparatively easy to dissociate,and the inclusion gold is difficult to dissociate;Study on deposit controlling factors of Sharaf Abad gold deposit shows,stratigraphic,structure,magmatite and hydrothermal alteration is the main ore controlling factors and in further the initial study of metallogenic mechanism of gold deposits.Based on the ore controlling factors and metallogenic mechanism study,the ore prospecting indicators of Sharaf Abad gold deposit is established:(1)silicification,pyrite,fade of mineralization and alteration as several geological prospecting signs;(2)acidic volcano rock and volcano clastic rock strata can be used as prospecting signs;(3)the tectonic fault zone is also one of an important prospecting mark;(4)Au and Ag are the main ore-forming elements,can be used as gold mineralization the indicator elements.Through detailed study on mineralogy,chemical composition analysis,deposit controlling factors,prospecting indicators of Sharaf Abad gold deposit,provide a theoretical basis for the further prospecting and mining development,also provide guidance and deployment of engineering prospecting work for the next step.
