Fractional vegetation cover(FVC)is a key factor in the evaluation of the regional eco-environment study.With the development of earth observing technology technology,remote sensing becomes a major measurement method for FVC gradually.Current remote sensing data using a single sensor is restricted by the atmosphere and resolution or many factors,thus AS a data source,the FVC estimation has a limitation for spatial and temporal resolution in soil erosion research.Using multi-source remote sensing data provides a feasible solution for estimation of high resolution FVC.The paper study selects Xi'an as study area,Using multi-source remote sensing data and data produccts as data source,made the following research:(1)In the researches of getting high temporal and spatial FVC datas.we used the Landsat8 data and MODIS data as data source,getting two scale FVC datas with different spatial and temporal resolution through Pixel dichotomy model.And then use ESTARFM(Enhanced spatial and temporal adaptive reflectance fusion mode)to make two sacle FVC datas fusion,get 8 day temporal and 30 meters spatial scale FVC data.(2)In the process of evaluate the high temporal and spatial FVC data,On the one hand,we select Landsat8 FVC data has the same date with predicted data to analyze the Effectiveness,the results showed that:the trend between ESTARFM FVC and Landsat8 FVC is consistent in the same period,the correlation coefficient of 0.85 above,the difference of vast majority area between the absolute value is less than 0.2,the overall prediction result is higher.On the other hand,compared to the time series of Geoland2 FVC products,we found there are some differences in the time curve of single point values of the two,but the general trend is relatively consistent,and various vegetation types of FVC process show obvious regularity,1-8 for vegetation coverage rise in August,9-12 months as the decline phase,and the study area mains high coverage and high coverage.(3)The soil erosion in Xi'an is estimated based on the high temporal and spatial FVC.The study selects USLE soil erosion function to estimated soil erosion in Xi'an.,using the ESTARFM FVC and other datas from the rainfall,soil,terrain and land cover data to compute all factors in the function.Then the soil erosion amount in Xi'an is computed and the spatial distribution characterstics are analysed.The results show that:The soil ersion amount in xi'an 2014 is 47 billion 190 million tons The grade is mild and micro erosion,hu county?zhouzhi county and changan area along the low qinling mountains area shoubld be the key area in the soil and water management.
