There were differences in the morphology, structure, function and reproductive strategy of the same species in different habitats.Reproduction is an important part of plant life history,is the way of reproduction of plants,to achieve population regeneration. In different environments, plants can coordinate the relationship between survival, growth and reproduction by changing the reproductive strategy to increase their fitness in the environment.Jerusalem artichoke can be both sexual and asexual reproduction, the change of reproductive strategy is influenced by environmental factors,is the best material to study the changes in breeding strategies under different environmental conditions. In this study, two kinds of Jerusalem artichoke lines with high seed setting rate were shaded, watered, fertilized and fertilized with watering, the phenotypic traits, biomass characteristics and biomass allocation of Jerusalem artichoke were analyzed by comparing the effects of different treatments, the effects of different environmental factors on the reproductive strategies of Jerusalem artichoke were discussed, which provided a theoretical basis for studying the effects of different environments on plant reproductive strategies and the mechanism of plant adaptation to different environments. The results were shown as following:(1)Watering treatment: The same variation characteristics of high and low strains: Plant height, basal diameter and leaf area increased and tiller number reduced, fruit dry weight, seed dry weight, seed number and flower number were increased, aboveground biomass and underground biomass increased;different characteristics: tuber dry weight high strain increase, low strain decrease.Water had a significant effect on the sexual reproduction of Jerusalem artichoke;(2)Shading treatment: The same variation characteristics of high and low strains: Plant height, tiller number, leaf area, basal diameter and tuber dry weight showed no obvious change on fruit dry weight, seed dry weight and seed number were reduced, the underground biomass allocation increased, and the ground biomass allocation reduced, shade has restrictive effect on the sexual reproduction of Jerusalem artichoke;(3)Fertilization treatment: The same variation characteristics of high and low strains: the plant height, leaf area and tiller number increased, basal diameter did not change significantly, tuber dry weight and fruit dry weight were increased, the number of flowers and seeds had no obvious change, increase biomass and underground biomass allocation, the biomass allocation increased significantly;different characteristics: dry seeds heavy high strain decreases, low strain had no obvious change.Fertilization had a significant effect on the sexual and asexual reproduction of Jerusalem artichoke. In summary,(1)Light and water were the limiting factors in the area;(2)When light was restricted, sexual reproduction was limited;(3)When the water condition was good,it promoted sexual reproduction;(4)Fertilization had a significant effect on vegetative propagation;(5)Compared with the high yield Jerusalem artichoke, the sexual reproduction of the low strain Jerusalem artichoke was more sensitive to the limiting factors;(6)When the limiting factor is severe, chose asexual reproduction;on the contrary, chose sexual reproduction.
