By investigating and Comprehensive analysis of data, based on geological structure and geothermal background of Shandong province,combined with geophysical exploration, drilling and geothermal water test results, the occurrence characteristics of geothermal water resources in Shandong province has summarized, especially the hydro geochemical characteristics of different hot water. According to these, the formation model of hot water has structured, the geothermal water resources in Shandong province have divided and the thermal reservoir model has established.Based on the geological background, hydrogeological conditions,the occurrence of geothermal water resources and other factors,Shandong Province is be divided into three geothermal partitions:Eastern Shandong geothermal partition, South central of Shandong geothermal partiton and Northwest geothermal partition. Among them,South central of Shandong geothermal partition is be divided into four sub partitions: Yishu Fault Zone geothermal partition, Shandong central south uplift geothermal partition, Shandong central south hidden uplift geothermal partition and Shandong central south edge zone geothermal partition.The geothermal water in Eastern Shandong geothermal partition is mainly in the form of hot springs. The type of thermal reservoir is magmatic or metamorphic rocks zonal thermal reservoir, its cover is Quaternary sedimentary layer. The hydrochemical type is HCO3·SO4-Na and Cl-Na·Ca; The thermal of Yishu Fault Zone geothermal partition is Mesozoic andesite, glutenite and magmatic rocks of Yanshan period fracture zonal thermal reservoir, the cover is mainly as Quaternary sedimentary layer. The anion is mainly as SO4 type or Cl type; The thermal of Shandong central south uplift geothermal partition is Middle Archean metamorphic rocks and Cambrian Ordovician limestone, the cover is Quaternary sedimentary layer and Paleogene strata. The hydrochemical type is SO4 · Cl-Na · Ca; The thermal type of Shandong central south hidden uplift geothermal partition is Cambrian Ordovician limestone layered thermal reservoir, its cover is Quaternary sedimentary layer and Neogene strata. Because of geothermal water display point less,only water samples in Tengzhou geothermal field has analyzed. The hydrochemical type is SO4· Cl-Na · Ca. The thermal type of Shandong central south edge zone geothermal partition is Cenozoic sandstone and Lower Paleozoic Cambrian Ordovician limestone layered thermal reservoir. The hydrochemical type is SO4-Na·Ca and SO4 · Cl-Na; The thermal type of Northwest geothermal partition is mainly divided into Neogene sandstone, Paleogene sandstone, Cambrian Ordovician limestone layered thermal reservoir and Taishan group metamorphic rocks zonal thermal reservoir. The hydrochemical type is Cl-Na.The formation mechanism of geothermal water in Eastern Shandong geothermal partition and Yishu Fault Zone geothermal partition is deep circulation convection warming, its heat source is the hot of tectonic convection; It appears the situation of layered thermal reservoir and zonal thermal reservoir in Shandong central south uplift geothermal partition, its formation mechanism is mainly as deep circulation convection warming; The formation mechanism of geothermal water is deep heat conduction warming in Shandong central south hidden uplift geothermal partition, Shandong central south edge zone geothermal partition and Northwest geothermal partition, its heat source is terrestrial heat flow conduction heat.
