Abstract/Summary:
Nowdays, with the development of science technology, Remote sensing detection technology have already become one of the indispensable means to meteorological observation. Because of its unique advantages, strong penetrability, large observation range and long observation time, people are focusing on satellite microwave remote sensing technology .However ,the low-frequency channel brightness temperatures from MWRI are polluted by Active microwave remote sensing instrument. This phenomenon is called RFI. It is important to detect the RFI to ensure the data is clear and useful. In this study normalized principal component analysis is used to identify RFI signals from MWRI on FY-3 and analyze daily variation tendency of RFI signals. In the same time , identify Television Frequency Interference (TFI) signals on ocean, and assess the result of Sea surface meteorological elements retrieve. The result shows that: NPCA method is useful, and the RFI signals on Europe show the tendency of wave crests and troughs in 10.65GHz, the RFI signals are larger in night and winter than in daytime and summer. Also, confirm the source of the TFI signals on ocean, The TFI signals of MWRI at 10.65 GHz horizontal polarization over ocean are distributed widely over the ocean near the coastal areas of Europe. The TFI signals at 18.7GHz are found over the offshore marine areas of North America. Meanwhile, there is a great influence to retrieve sea surface meteorological elements from the data affected by TFI signals.
