3D Geographic Scene has been widely used in the source management,city planning,environmental modelling,emergency response and the daily life.Recently,the progress of the information technology makes the 3D Geographic Scene become rich and diversified,and the effective presentation of the spatial data has become a key issue for better understanding and use of 3D Geographic Scene.By using the naked-eye stereoscopic technology,spatial data can be observed in a direct-viewing type which is beneficial for the spatial awareness formation and better understanding of 3D Geographic Scene.There are two problems in the naked-eye stereoscopic display of 3D Geographic Scene.One is the existing naked-eye stereoscopic display model lacks the investigation of model parameters,which cannot meet the requirements of spatiality and interactivity.Another problem is the three-dimensional GIS software cannot provide effective and convenient methods for the naked-eye stereoscopic display.The main purpose of this paper is to solve the above problems and the conclusions are as follows:(1)Based on the basic principle of the naked-eye stereoscopic display,image capturing model was designed and the relationships between parameters and model effect were analyzed.Further study designed a self-adaption parameter adjustment method for the naked-eye stereoscopic display,which can meet the requirements of the spatiality and interactivity.(2)To overcome the shortcoming of GIS and virtual reality integration pattern,a new pattern named grey-box integration pattern was proposed in this paper based on the analysis of modern operating system architecture.The proposed method contains three parts:integration flow,scene information acquisition based on command intercept and multi-view image generation and stereoscopic display naked-eye stereo image synthesis.(3)Based on the OpenGL and C++ platform,naked-eye stereoscopic display system was implemented by using the drawing method of three-dimensional model.Three-dimensional stereoscopic display system was developed based on the OpenGL,Direct3D and VC++ platform.Evaluations were conducted according to the subjective evaluation,speed response and software interaction.The naked-eye stereoscopic display method for 3D Geographic Scene proposed in this paper not only offer the theoretical support for the visualization of 3D Geographic Scene,but also provide a new thinking for the three-dimensional stereoscopic display model in GIS software.This study will promote the development of 3D Geographic Scene visualization,and will also contribute significantly to virtual reality GIS.
