Sequence Stratigraphy And Sedimentary Facies Of Putaohua,Gaotaizi,and Fuyu Oil Layers In The Talaha-Qijia Area

A large amount of hydrocarbons have been found in the Putaohua oil layers,the Gaotaizi oil layers and the Fuyu oil layers of the Talaha-Qijia area,Daqing Oilfield.However,the division of stratigraphy,the sedimentary system and the hydrocarbon enrichment law are keeping controversial in this area.In order to solve these problems and predict the favorable area of hydrocarbons,the sedimentology and the sequence stratigraphy have been investigated in his paper on the basis of logging,seismic and core-analysis data.The sequence stratigraphic framework of the Putaohua,the Gaotaizi and the Fuyu oil layers is built up.Three third-order sequence,ten fourth-order sequence,twenty fifth-order sequence and thirty four sixth-order sequence are recognized.The Putaohua oil layer is dominated by subaqueous channels,mouth bars,and sheet sands;the Gaotaizi oil layer is dominated by mouth bars,sheet sands,turbidite fans and lacustrine beach bars;the Fuyu oil layer is dominated by distributary interchannels and subaqueous channels.It is favorable to form lithologic hydrocarbon reservoirs for the sheet sand bodies and channel sand bodies in the Putaohua oil layer,the large-scale sheet sand bodies and mouth bar sand bodies in the Gaotaizi oil layer,and the serial channel sand bodies.All of these are the hydrocarbon favorable area for the next exploration.
