The stability of slope is one of the most frequently studied engineering geological problems in engineering construction.Loess is a special soil with "water sensitivity",the loess in China is famous for its widely distribution,continuous,complete formation and large thickness.In the Loess Plateau,the activity of loess landslide often take tremendous disasters to people's lives and properties,therefore,the research of mechanism of hydrological on loess landslide under rainfall condition is very important for the research of shallow loess landslide mechanism and early warning.Based in the artificial slope in Jing-yang,the moisture-meter,tension-meter,rain gauge was used to monitor the hydrological process of loess slope under the condition of natural and artificial rainfall,combined with laboratory test and analysis of the slope stability of the model.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)The actually natural and artificial rainfall was obtained by rain gauge which placing in the artificial slope,through the moisture-meter and tension-meter,which buried at different depths of the platform,the change of matric suction and the soil water characteristic curve(SWCC)of loess slope,which in the process of natural and artificial rainfall,was researched.(2)The basic parameters such as soil density,water content and permeability were obtained by the experimental study on the basic physical properties and the hydraulic properties of undisturbed soil,on this basis,based on the field monitoring data,the soil water characteristic curve and permeability coefficient curve were obtained and compared with the soil water characteristic curve in laboratory.(3)Based on the direct shear test of the original loess under different natural and saturated water content,the shear strength parameters under two different water states were obtained,according to the soil water characteristic curve and the shear strength of the saturated soil,the shear strength under different water content was estimated.(4)The rule of rainfall infiltration and stability of loess slope was analyzed by the Geostudio2007.
