Geochemistry Of Rare Earth Elements In The Coals From Southwestern China

Because the southwest region in China is the hardest hit by the acid rain,not only the sulfur content in the southwest is high,but also the harmful trace elements in the coal are also enriched.The geochemical chemistry of rare earth elements in coal can not only provide geochemical basis for the formation of coal seams,but also has important theoretical and practical significance for rational utilization of coal resources and sustainable development.In this paper,the content and occurrence status of rare earth elements in coal in southwest China were investigated 31 samples were collected from Panzhihua,Sichuan,20 samples were collected from Nantong Donglin,Chongqing,and 11 samples were collected from Lincang,Yunnan.The contents of rare earth elements in the samples were analyzed by ICP-MS.The content,distribution pattern and occurrence state of rare earth elements in five coal seams were found out.The results showed that the content of rare earth elements in panzhihua taiping 18 coal range of 6.59?281.7 ug/g.the averages is 123.75 ug/g,panzhihua dabaoding 15-3 scope of content of rare earth elements in coal in 11.51 ug/ug/g and 338.44 g,averages is 160.87 ug/g,chongqing Nantong 5 in coal ? REE in the range of 107.49 443.45 ug/g between ug/g,averagesis is 256.14 ug/g,donglin coal in 6 ? REE value range of 44.6ug/g?1573 ug/g,averages is 262.61 ug/g,the ?REE in lincang mengtuo coal in the range of 101.92 ug/g and 375.96 g.The averages is 223.62 ug/g.The minimum value of rare earth elements in the study area is 6.59ug/g,the maximum is 1572.68ug/g,and the average is 191.94ug/g.The content of rare earth elements in the coal plate of Donglin No.6 in Chongqing is abnormally rich and the content of rare earth elements is 1572.68ug/g,which may be derived from alkaline volcanic ash.The content of rare earth elements in coal near the top and bottom of coal seam in the study area and the corresponding coal seam is high.8Eu range is 0.25?0.78,?Eu value is less than 1,we can see that the study area are Eu negative anomalies.The anomalous Ce anomalies in the Nantong coal are related to the partial reduction of the lake sedimentary environment.The occurrence of rare earth elements in the study area is mainly caused by clay minerals and carbonate silicate The formation of minerals or silicon-aluminum compounds combined with the main state.
