The ocean tide information has been an indispensable factor in the development of the marine resources,real time and accurate measurement of tidal information is an important content in the research and development of marine instruments.This paper designs a kind of tide online measurement system based on TOF depth imaging and ZigBee Mesh wireless sensor network.Experiments show that the measurement system works well in the range of 2-6m,absolute accuracy in the ±15mm,relative accuracy in ±0.5%,the maximum measurement range of the system is 7.5m,the range resolution is 2.5mm,single node acquisition speed can reach 500 times per second,and ZigBee Mesh wireless sensor networks with dynamic routing,self-organization,good self-healing characteristics is very suitable for networking applications with large-scale and harsh marine environment.This paper mainly includes the following research contents:Distance measurement theory based on TOF depth imaging and related knowledge about ZigBee Mesh wireless sensor network.Design the optical and mechanical structure,including the the selection of light source,the design of LED collimator,selection and calculation of the receiving lens,and the selection of the infrared narrow band filter.Complete the design of detection in infrared imaging based on EPC610 chip,including the selection and design of drive circuit of infrared LED,design of the EPC610 power supply system and the detection plate PCB welding.Design control circuit of EPC610,complete read and write control programers for ARM and its calculation procedures.Configure every node of ZigBee Mesh network,including the coordinator,router and terminal,prepare the communication protocol between the coordinator and terminal node.Carry out the practical experiments,verify the reliability of the system function the measurement results can satisfy the requirement of the project finally.
