The sea is vast and covers an area of about 70%of the world's surface,Changes in ocean temperature will affect the earth's temperature to a great extent,therefore,it is very important to study the sea surface temperature.The ocean contains huge capacity,heat capacity of water is very large,the temperature of the small changes in the impact of human living environment at the same time,will also have a very large impact on the global climate,and to a certain extent affect local weather changes.This paper reviews the research progress of sea surface temperature retrieval algorithm.On the basis of in-depth analysis of a large number of domestic and foreign research results,combined with the characteristics of MODIS based on MODIS LIB remote sensing image data as the data source,the South China Sea area for the demonstration area of sea surface temperature inversion process carried out a series of studies.Specific contents are as follows:(1)Using the Terra-MODIS remote sensing image data,in view of numerous research outcomes on the existing now,by way of comparison and analysis,finally from the inversion algorithm of sea surface temperature retrieval algorithm,selected the most suitable for the study area,and the application of data covering study area inversion examples.(2)The cloud is the main error source of the thermal infrared remote sensing inversion result,this paper has done before in the inversion,the cloud detection processing;because of sea and land in the infrared emissivity difference will impact on the inversion of SST therefore,the terrestrial water separation process.(3)As for the design and implementation of sea surface temperature inversion software,the sea surface temperature retrieve software was established in the Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 development environment,using the object-oriented C#language based on ArcGIS Engine and IDL secondary platform.In the process of software design,this paper raises the key technology?function modules and interface program,and the statistical analysis and mapping output of retrieving results of sea surface temperature retrieve software are realized by using ArcGIS Engine component.(4)As for verification and analysis of inversion results,The South China Sea is selected as the research area.Results of the analysis show that the retrieval software has good stability,and it can process of multiple remote sensing images continuously.On the basis of the MODIS LIB data of TREEA in February 4,2014 of standard time 0250,and the data in August 8,2014 of standard time 0245,the results shows that the sea surface temperature used in retrieval software could reflect the distribution of sea surface temperature in study area.The correlation coefficient between the inversion results and the measured data is about 0.92,the MRE is 0.69?,the RMSE is 0.41?,and the minimum error is 0.039?,and the maximum error is 1.354?.While that the sea surface temperature inversion algorithm in this paper can be used in China.Retrieval results are able to meet the needs of marine research and operational needs of the production.Retrieval results are able to meet the needs of marine research and operational needs of the production.
