Geophysical logging has been a leading role in oil and coal exploration and development,many geological interpretation and evaluation work have been completed based on conventional logging curves.Generally,the processing of conventional log curves is based on the visual field of shape and amplitude,however,the deep frequency information contained in logging information is difficult to deal with.In order to further excavate the deep-frequency information of the logging curve.Recent years,time-frequency analysis technology have been applied in conventional logging curve processing research,achieved good application effect.Therefore,this paper presents the application of conventional logging curve based on generalized S-transform.First,the research and application of S-transform and generalized S –transform both at home and abroad have been introduced in the paper.The theory of S-transform and generalized S-transform are systematically expatiated.The properties of S-transform and generalized S-transform are summarized and summarized.The results of S-transform and generalized S-transform are compared and analyzed.The results show that the S-transform and the generalized S-transform have the characteristics of local analysis,time-shifted,non-destructive reversibility and good time-frequency resolution,while the time-frequency focusing of generalized S-transform is better.The generalized S-transform is applied to the processing and interpretation of conventional logging curves.To build the simulation signal for high frequency signal denoising.Based on the generalized S-transform,the actual logging data are analyzed and processed in the deep-spectrum,the results show that the denoising effect is good.Analysis of logging thin layer model.Discrimination and division of the actual logging data in the deep-spectrum based on the generalized S-transform.the results are consistent with the actual logging data;The forward and reverse rotation logging models are constructed and analyzedidentification and division of sedimentary cycles in the deep spectrum based on generalized S transform.the results are consistent with the actual logging data.Therefore,the above research results show that the generalized S-transform has good characteristics of time-frequency(deep-frequency)resolution,multi-resolution and local spectrum analysis,Which is a great guiding significance to the processing and interpretation of conventional logging curves.
