Lifetime of 110 Cd refers to the the time of excited state dacaying to ground state.This work is about the influence of angle straggling in the experiment of measurement of the lifetime of 110 Cd.This work employs the software of Geant4 to simulate the process of heavy-ion beams in target matter.Different variables are set for the incident beam and target matter to analyze the angle straggling and energy straggling.Monte Carlo Method,also known as Statistical Simulation Method,is a kind of numerical calculation method based on Probability Statistics Theory.It is widely used because of the accuracy and conveniency.Some experiments have to be simulated before the process of the case because of the experimental cost,so that the reasonableness of the experiment can be predicted.This work includes:(1)the energy of the incident beam stays still,while the thickness of target matter is changed;(2)the energy of the incident beam and the thickness of target matter stay still,while the type of the incident beam is changed;(3)the type of the incident beam and the thickness of target matter stay still,while the energy of the incident beam is changed.
