State-dependent delayed system is a more realistic object in nature and hu-man society. Its dynamic phenomenon is a hot spot and a difficult task in current research. Under the support of the National Natural Science Foundation of China(No: 11372282), in this dissertation, the bifurcation and chaos in two state-dependent delayed systems are considered. Firstly, the software DDE-BIFTOOL is employed to analyze the Hopf bifurcation of the wireless network congestion model with state-dependent round trip delay. The Hopf bifurcations are obtained for the four typical network conditions. The corresponding stable and unstable bifurcating solutions are quantitatively and qualitatively verified by software WinPP respectively, whose re-sults agree to each other very well. It provides theoretical basis and instructions for the congestion control of the wireless network. Secondly, chaos is analyzed by soft-ware WinPP in the model of state-dependent delayed turning tool.Quasi-periodic motion to chaos, one of routes to chaos, is found and verified by software WinPP in this turning tool model. It provides a theoretical basis for regenerative chatter control of turning tool model.
