Jiaodong is an important gold origin in China. The region has a long history of gold mining, gold production and reserves accounted for about 25% of China.90% of the gold resources in this region is concentrated in the northwest. The Jiaojia fault zone is one of the most important fault zones in the Jiaodong area. There are many large and medium-sized gold deposits such as Jiaojia gold mine,Wang Ershan gold mine,Hedong gold mine along the fault zone distribution. Many gold deposits in the Jiaojia fault zone have been studied, but the whole research is still inadequate. It is important to summarize the metallogenic regularity in prospecting. In this paper, four typical gold deposits, such as Jiaojia Gold Mine,Xincheng Gold Mine and Wang Ershan Gold Mine, were selected to study.Based on the data of previous studies, the geological characteristics of orebodies, ores, surrounding rock alteration, metallogenic periods of typical deposits, main element, rare earth element, sulfur isotope, hydrogen and oxygen isotope, and the metallogenic regularity were analyzed and discussed. With a comprehensive analysis of the geological characteristics of typical deposits,we find that most of the gold deposits near the Jiaojia fault zone belong to the altered rock type gold deposits. The ore body is located in the main fault or secondary fault zone. The distribution and mineralization enrichment of orebody are controlled by NNE fault structure.Ore bodies usually present at the intersection, the composite site,or the site of the transition of the fault structure.Which has great potential for prospecting in the Jiaojia fault and Wang Ershan fault and other secondary faults.Based on the comprehensive analysis of the main elements and isotopic geochemical characteristics of typical deposits,it is concluded that the rocks related to mineralization are characterized by high potassium, alkaline and aluminous. The ore-forming materials mainly come from metasomatic remelting granites. The ore-forming fluid has the characteristics of mixed atmospheric precipitation and magmatic water.Linglong granite and Guojialing granodiorite are closely related to mineralization. The metallogenic age of gold deposits in the study area is between 110 and 130 Ma.
